PURPOSE: Image processing device and image processing method are provided to acquire a three-dimensional image or a two-dimensional image including depth information in real time by combining two-dimensional image information acquired from a four-dimensional optical field. CONSTITUTION: A photo sensor array (130) captures a set of rays. A micro lens array (120) is located in between main lens and photo sensor array. A data processing unit (150) acquires four-dimensional optical field information consisting of combination of location information with respect to a plurality of two-dimensional images. The data processing unit reconfigures a two-dimensional image based on four-dimensional optical field information. A Wigner function unit transforms the four-dimensional optical field information into a Wigner distribution function meaning a four-dimensional phase space function. A Radon transform unit reconfigures a two-dimensional image by transforming the Wigner distribution function.
