PURPOSE: A robot and a system for inspecting pipes are provided to inspect the inside of the pipe without connecting various kinds of cables such as a power line, a communications line, and a control line. CONSTITUTION: A robot for inspecting pipes comprises a body unit (110), a wind power station (120), and a power supply unit (130). One or more functional modules are mounted on the body unit for inspecting the pipe. The wind power station converts wind energy into electric energy inside the pipe. The wind power station is equipped with rotary wing units (121a,121b), and a generator (129). The rotary wing unit is equipped with wings rotated by wind. The generator converts rotation energy of the wing into the electric energy. The power supply unit supplies the power to the functional modules by using the converted electric energy. |
