The patient couch (1) has a couch board (3) that is provided with a phantom (4) for testing a medical diagnostic system. The phantom is firmly mounted at the couch board which is adjusted. A storage vessel (5) is provided for storing the phantom. The storage vessel is integrated into a supporting base (2) of the couch board. An independent claim is included for a method for testing medical diagnostic system.
