PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flow characteristics of a paste, to improve production efficiency of coating, and to enable long-period storage while suppressing an increase in load in a drying process by using polyethylene oxide of a water-soluble resin which is thermally decomposed below 300°C even when becoming large in molecular weight as a thickener for a paste composition for microporous layer formation.SOLUTION: A 75 g acetylene blank, 7.5 g polyoxyethylene lauryl ether as a dispersant, a 41 g PTFE emulsion, a 1 g polyethylene oxide as a thickener, and 375.5 g deionized water are mixed in this proportion, and a 600 g paste material before the thickener is mixed is mixed and dispersed for three minutes by a planetary type agitating and defoaming device having settings of revolution 8 and rotation 9. Then the polyethylene oxide is mixed as the thickener, and a four-propeller agitator is rotated for mixing a mixture so as to obtain a paste for microporous layer. |
