The present invention provides: a solid electrolyte whereby ion conductivity in an object including a ceramic particle sintered body is improved; a production method therefor; and a cell and a cell pack that use this solid electrolyte. This invention pertains to a solid electrolyte including a ceramic particle sintered body wherein a crystal surface having an ion conduction path is oriented in a direction intersecting at least one surface of the solid electrolyte.
