PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly and easily install, on a transparent plate-like member having a wide tilt angle range, an imaging unit which captures an image of an imaging region through a windshield or the like and can capture an image of deposits such as raindrops depositing on an outer wall surface of the transparent plate-like member.SOLUTION: An imaging unit including an imaging part 200 for capturing an image of an imaging region through a windshield 105 as well as an image of raindrops Rd depositing on the windshield comprises: a mirror module 101B which fixedly supports a reflecting mirror 203 for reflecting light emitted from a light source 202 and is fixedly disposed on the windshield; a light source and imaging module 101A which fixedly supports the light source and the imaging part and is fixedly disposed so that an imaging direction P of the imaging part faces a specific direction; and a rotational coupling mechanism 101C which couples these modules so that they are relatively rotatable around a rotation axis orthogonal to an incident surface where light from the light source reflected by the reflecting mirror impinges on the inner wall surface of the windshield. |
