PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance in a charger including a cooling fan for cooling the interior of the charger and a battery pack.SOLUTION: A charger 10 for charging a battery pack 100 includes: an attachment part 10a where the battery pack 100 may be attached to an upper surface; a cooling fan 13 where a rotation shaft is disposed in a substantially horizontal direction; and a fan cover 20 disposed at the leeward side of the cooling fan 13 and separating cooling air generated by the cooling fan 13. The fan cover 20 includes: a vertical air guide passage 21 guiding the cooling air upward for cooling the battery pack 100; and horizontal air guide passages 22, 23 guiding the cooling air in the horizontal direction for cooling the interior of the charger 10. |
