PURPOSE: An integrated surveillance system for monitoring a ship and a method thereof are provided to reduce a computation amount for finding the position of a ship by synchronizing a stored position of the ship with an acquisition time of new target information. CONSTITUTION: An integrated surveillance system(100) includes a plurality of multi sensors(111,121,131) and a fusion device(141). A synchronization part predicts and changes a stored position of a ship by synchronizing the position of the ship with an acquisition time of target information. An identification part classifies the obtained target information by sensor. A data fusion part traces the movement path of the ship by fusing the classified target information with the changed ship position information. A storage stores the updated moving path of the ship.
