HALOGEN-FREE WATERBORNE COATING COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: An environment-friendly halogen-free aqueous paint composition is provided to have excellent adhesion even to a polyolefin material, to have excellent or similar physical and/or chemical properties to conventional oil-based paint or halogen-added paint. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly halogen-free aqueous paint composition comprises a halogen-free polyolefin resin, an acrylic polyol, an acrylic emulsion, and a solvent. The OH% of the acrylic polyol is 2.0-4.5 %. The acrylic emulsion is a styrene-based acrylic emulsion. The halogen-free polyolefin resin is an acryl-modified polyolefin and has the weight average molecular weight of 80,000-150,000. The aqueous paint composition additionally includes a curing agent. A coating material is formed by spreading the aqueous paint composition on a polyolefin-based material.
