A method for field reduction of a tractive series electric motor includes current decreasing in a series excitation winding by means of a DC-DC converter via shunting thereof. The input of DC-DC converter is connected in parallel to the series winding, the output – in parallel to a capacitor and an accumulator battery through an isolation diode and a thyristor. |
