A light emitting diode is provided to enhance light emitting efficiency by using a double epoxy structure instead of a single epoxy structure. A light emitting diode chip(31) is formed to emit the light. An internal resin structure(32) has a refractive index smaller than the refractive index of the light emitting diode chip. A lower side of an inner wall of the internal resin structure comes in contact with a lateral surface of the light emitting diode chip in order to be erected on an upper surface of the light emitting diode chip. An external wall of the light emitting diode chip is inclined toward the inner wall with respect to a surface parallel to an upper surface of the light emitting diode chip, in order to meet the inner wall on a semiconductor chip. An external resin structure(33) is formed to surround the light emitting diode chip and the internal resin structure. The external resin structure has a refractive index smaller than the refractive index of the internal resin structure. |
