The invention concerns a computer system comprising one or more hardware components and one or more operating systems. The computer system is provided with a modular bus management system. The modular bus management system has several modular connection points for the hardware components. The one or more operating systems are connected to the bus management system by a firmware system. The modular bus management system enables the mutual interaction between the hardware components and the interaction between the firmware system and the hardware components. Further, the invention provides a module for application in a computer system according to the invention. The invention also concerns a method to operate such computer system. |
