This stimulation provision method provides stimulation that is unlikely to vary between subjects to a subject in order to confirm the presence of dementia symptoms. The stimulation provision device of the present invention comprises: a plurality of tactile stimulators (11h) that have a V-shape from a viewpoint that is perpendicular to the outer surface side of a stimulator formation board (11b), and that protrude from the outer surface side; a stimulation provision unit (7) comprising a pulley (9) and an endless belt (10) that maintain each tactile stimulator (11h) so that it is possible to circulate each tactile stimulator (11h); a cover (5) that covers the stimulation provision unit (7) and comprises an opening (5c) that opens in such a way that a subject (H1) can touch only one of the tactile stimulators (11h) with the tip of their finger; and a motor (15) that drives the pulley (9) and the endless belt (10) so that the tactile stimulators (11h) sequentially face the opening (5c) one at a time.
