PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fault caused by not sharing cache information among plural routers having a Proxy DNS function.SOLUTION: In a cache information exchange system which exchanges cache information among plural proxy apparatuses, one of the proxy apparatuses receives a request from one of subordinate clients of the proxy apparatus, makes a query to a server as proxy for the client, and obtains answer information responding to the query, from the server, as proxy for the client. The answer information is synchronized among the proxy apparatuses. Each of the proxy apparatuses holds the synchronized answer information as cache information. |
