PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility suitably with respect to an artificial image without being influenced by characteristics of a display and without occurring flicker even in a case of performing video display under a display environment having lower color expression than an original video signal.SOLUTION: A video processing device includes a display control section for correcting an input video signal and outputting it. The display control section calculates a spatial edge amount on the basis of each pixel value of the video signal to be an origin, generates a correction pixel value on the basis of the edge amount, and outputs the pixel value of the video signal to be the origin and the correction pixel value so as to switch them at a time. |
