PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment agent for a metal, which hardly forms a surface oxide film even after a metal surface is exposed to a high temperature and humidity, has a high heat resistance, furthermore is excellent in adhesion with resins of a molding material and a cover film or the like, excellent in solder wettability, excellent in film uniformity, and has a large cost advantage.SOLUTION: A surface treatment agent for a metal contains one or more of compounds selected from a group of a specific tetrazole derivative, a bistetrazole derivative, and salts thereof, and additionally contains an alcohol hydroxyl groups-containing carboxylic acid based chelating agent. |
