PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a route excluding a pedestrian crosswalk for a pedestrian using a route guidance to be unable to safely cross during a time when a green signal is lighted.SOLUTION: A navigation device comprises: a map information storage part 12 that stores information on a lighting time and a crossing distance of a green signal of a pedestrian traffic signal at each pedestrian crosswalk contained in map information; a walk speed calculation part 22 that calculates a walk speed of a pedestrian to be guided to a target destination; a determination part 23 that refers to information on the lighting time of the green signal of the pedestrian traffic signal, and determines whether or not the pedestrian can cross the pedestrian crosswalk for each pedestrian crosswalk during the time when the green signal is lighted on the basis of the crossing distance of the pedestrian crosswalk, the lighting time of the green signal of the pedestrian traffic signal and a calculated walk speed; and a route search part 21 that performs a route search excluding the crosswalk determined to be impossible to be crossed during the time when the green signal is lighted as an off-target. |
