A ball bearing assembly (10) comprises a couple of equal ball bearings (10a, 10b) each having an outer ring (16a, 16b) and an inner ring (18a, 18b) with balls (20a, 20b) thereinbetween. The outer rings (16a, 16b) are adapted to fit with interference, in use, with a cylindrical wall (14) of an external body (12) to be supported. The ball bearings (10a, 10b) are disposed adjacent to each other so that the outer rings (16a, 16b) are separated by a gap while the internal flanks (27a, 27b) of the inner rings (18a, 18b) can push one against the other, being in contact with each other either directly or trough an intermediate spacer. |
