PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of excessive loss and deterioration of durability by setting torque capacity of an actuator of an automatic transmission to a necessary minimum.SOLUTION: A constant mesh type multistage transmission 3 is arranged in a drive toque transmission system from a motor generator MG to a driving wheel 14, and a speed change controller 21 for controlling speed change according to a torque capacity command to a friction clutch electric actuator 5 of the constant mesh type multistage transmission 3 is provided. In this transmission torque control device for an automatic transmission, the speed change controller 21 sets a target clutch pressing force tFc of the friction clutch electric actuator 5 on the basis of a ratio between a "motor transmission torque climb gradient &Dgr;Tin" and a "clutch transmission torque climb gradient &Dgr;Tactr" and "current motor transmission torque Tin" (Fig. 3). |
