The safety switch (1) has two computers (11,21) which are connected with the communication unit (30) for establishing wireless data communication with the actuator (9). The primary computer (21) is adapted for data exchange with the actuator over the communication unit. The primary computer is adapted to receive the data from actuator and to transmit the data to secondary computer (11). The secondary computer is arranged to execute a security check of the data received from the actuator and passed on to secondary computer, independent of the primary computer.
