PURPOSE: A suction foundation comprising a vertically movable heavy body and multiple pipe members and a construction method for the same are provided to be firmly installed by deeply penetrating even into a submarine rock mass, and to shorten the penetration time of a suction foundation into the seabed. CONSTITUTION: A suction foundation comprising a vertically movable heavy body and multiple pipe members comprises an FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) pipe(10) and a heavy body(20). The heavy body is combined to the upper end of multiple pipe members with hollows. The outer circumference of the pipe member integrally includes a hanging portion(11). The heavy body is vertically movable to the upper side of the hanging portion along the pipe member. A cap(23) is installed in the upper end of the pipe member in order to prevent the heavy body from detaching from the pipe member. |
