PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of improving volumetric efficiency.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a heat insulation box 2 in which a foam insulation 22 is packed between an outside box 20 and an inside box 21; and a machine room 9 adjoining the heat insulation box 2. In the refrigerator, a side surface part 20b of the outside box 20 is extended beside the machine room 9, and the refrigerator includes a side wall member 30 which has a side wall part 30a disposed to face the side surface part 20b. A side wall of the machine room 9 is formed by packing a foam insulation 22 between the side surface part 20b and the side wall side 30a on a surface on the machine room 9 side of the side wall part 30a. An electrical equipment housing part 30f is recessed to house an electrical component. |
