PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen, which is appropriate for long-distance writing, which hardly causes ink leakage and the like during a manufacturing process and which makes a writing feeling and handwriting good, by a simple structure.SOLUTION: In a ball-point pen comprising a ball-point pen tip, a carbonaceous film, which is formed on a ball surface and/or a surface of a bottom wall of a ball embracing chamber, has a carbon atom and an oxygen atom bonded to the carbon atom. Longitudinal clearances of a ball satisfy the inequalities: A<B≤C≤D; 1.2<B/A<1.5; 1.0≤C/B<1.2; and 1.0≤D/C<1.2. In the inequalities, A represents the clearance for a writing distance of 0 m; B represents the clearance for a writing distance of 100 m; C represents the clearance for a writing distance of 1,000 m; and D represents the clearance for a writing distance of 2,000 m. |
