PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boronic acid compound and a boronate ester compound that are useful as proteasome inhibitors.SOLUTION: There are provided a novel compound that is useful as a proteasome inhibitor; a pharmaceutical composition including this compound; and a method for utilizing this composition for the treatment of a variety of diseases. For example, the compound and the pharmaceutical composition are useful for the treatment of the diseases lying through the controlled protein (for example, NF&kgr;B, p27, p21, and p53) according to a proteasome activity. |
