PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system having high writing efficiency.SOLUTION: A memory system comprises: a nonvolatile memory that holds a look-up table for managing user data and a physical address of the user data corresponding to a host address and a reverse look-up table for managing the host address corresponding to the physical address; and a memory. The memory system comprises a controller having a look-up table comparator for obtaining a first host address corresponding to a first physical address by using the reverse look-up table at least a part of which is read out on the memory, obtaining a second physical address corresponding to the first host address by using the look-up table read out on the memory, determining the user data of the first physical address to be valid data in a case where the first physical address and the second physical address coincide with each other, and, in the other cases, determining the user data of the first physical address to be invalid data. |
