PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly selectively producing dipropylene glycol and/or tripropylene glycol in the absence of any catalyst by using propylene oxide and propylene glycol as raw materials.SOLUTION: In a method for producing dipropylene glycol and/or tripropylene glycol, the dipropylene glycol and/or the tripropylene glycol are/is produced by reacting propylene glycol with propylene oxide in an amount of 0.01-1.0 equivalent relative to the molar number of the propylene glycol in the absence of any catalyst. |
