FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction of supports, masts, and towers. Foundation of box type is made up of supporting plate, sleeve, and weighting ground. Made in middle part of supporting plate is through-space. Installed above this space is covering, and mounted under covering along its central axis is beam. Ends of beam rest on supporting plate countersunk with its upper surface. Beam is provided in its center with four tie-rods which are secured in upper part of sleeve. Sleeve is filled with ground used as weighting of foundation. Application of aforesaid embodiment of foundation ensures steadiness and stability of mast under wind loads, together with maximal utilization of ground for weighting of foundation.
