摘要 PURPOSE: A method for constructing a PFP(Passive Fire Protection) on a grating facility of an offshore structure is provided to improve the stability and convenience of PFP construction on the surface of a main support because all the surface of the main support except for an upside thereof is exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A method for constructing a PFP on a grating facility of an offshore structure is as follows. The surface of a main support is blasted(S10). All the surfaces of the main support except for an upside is coated(S11). A PFP substance is spread on the surfaces of the main support except for the upside(S13). The PFP substance-spread PFP substance is plastered(S14). A mesh is installed on a primarily spread PFP layer(S15). The PFP layer is dried(S17). The PFP substance is spread on the surfaces of the main support except the upside(S18). A secondarily spread PFP layer is dried(S19). Through-holes of a grating are arranged on the upside of the PFP constructed main support(S24). The PFP substance is sprayed to the through-holes of the grating so that the PFP substance can be spread on the upside of the main support(S25). The PFP substance spread on the upside of the grating is plastered to match the height of the PFP layer with the height of the grating(S26).
