<p>The invention relates to a system for adjusting the working width in reversible ploughs, which comprises a mechanical tensional member () with left- and right-handed thread, fixed onto the plough frame within a front articulation () and, at the other end, in a back articulation () of a bar (), which is integral with some levers () transmitting the motion to the plough body supports (), a concomitant rotation of the plough bodies, within the limits of a handling angle (), being achieved upon actuation of the mechanical tensional member(). On the last plough body there is mounted a back lever () which controls, at the same time with the change of plough bodies position, the rotation of an arm () of the copying wheel about an articulation (), thereby maintaining the parallelism between the copying wheel and the advance direction, concomitantly with the change of the plough bodies working width.</p> |
