The system has a robot arrangement including robots (1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.4, 3.1-3.4) with a robot-guided dispensing arrangement that is provided with plasma nozzles (10, 11, 20, 21, 30, 31) and/or coating die. A controlling unit variably positions and/or actuates the robot-guided dispensing arrangement of robot arrangement relative to a profile strand axle. A conveying device moves different profile strands (P) to the robots, and a producing device i.e. extrusion device, forms the different profile strands. A chamber encloses a work position of the robot-guided dispensing arrangement. The different profile strands are made of plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing and/or coating of different profile strands by a processing system.
