Provided is a particle containing indocyanine green (ICG), which can be used as a contrast agent for fluorescent imaging or photoacoustic imaging or the like, and in which the leakage of ICG from the particle in serum can be prevented and therefore ICG can be held stably. A particle characterized by comprising an aggregate of indocyanine green and a phospholipid. In the particle, the leakage of ICG from the particle in serum or the like can be prevented and therefore ICG can be held in the particle stably.
