The method involves transferring machine-readable data as a data stream from a terminal (M) to several terminals (S). The transferred machine-readable data is reproduced at the terminals (S). A start signal having the information regarding the reproduction of the transferred machine-readable data is produced by the terminal (M) and is transmitted to the terminals (S). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) terminal; and (2) computer program product for synchronization of playback of machine-readable data at terminal.
