METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHELL REINFORCED BY GRAINS OF CARBIDES, NITRIDES, BORIDES AND SILICIDES OF VARIOUS METALS UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED IN VOLUME

A method for manufacturing a shell reinforced by grains of carbides, nitrides, borides and silicides of various metals uniformly distributed in the volume includes sequential assembly of inner, intermediate, and outer shells, and a reinforcing element is placed between them with minimal gaps followed by resistance welding on a roller machine. As a reinforcing element a reinforced cored wire is used, which is tightly placed along a helix top-down to the right or in the form of a grid and tacked by resistance welding to the inner shell or to the previously tacked turns of layer of reinforced cored wire.
