[Problem] To provide a battery cell storage apparatus capable of storing battery cells in such a manner that the ends of the battery cells do not get damaged. [Solution] This battery cell storage apparatus comprises: a plurality of plate-like intermediate plates (26) arranged such that flat battery cells (10) can be stored therebetween; a plurality of guides (33) that are arranged in the arrangement direction of the intermediate plates (26), and hold the intermediate plates (26) from a direction that is orthogonal to the arrangement direction; and a securing part (24) that is capable of securing the battery cells (10) stored between the intermediate plates (26) by sandwiching the battery cells with the intermediate plates (26).
