The method involves detecting commissioning requests, and determining article groups based on combination of different article properties. The groups are classified into fast-moving item-article groups and slow-moving item-article groups based on comparison of inventory turnover ratio between the groups. Articles of the fast-moving and slow-moving item-article groups are provided to workplaces in working areas (3, 4), respectively. The articles from the fast-moving and slow-moving item-article groups are stored in an order bundle based on the commissioning requests. An independent claim is also included for a system for providing, commissioning and/or packing articles.
