Method and system for operating plant

A method of operating a plant which includes a low-pressure feed water heater, a deaerator, and a high-pressure feed water heater that have been disposed in this order in a water supply line extending from a condenser to a steam generator and in which high-temperature feed water is led to the steam generator.  The method comprises injecting an oxidant from an oxidant injection line in order to form a coating film on the surfaces of the constituent materials of the water supply line, low-pressure feed water heater, deaerator, high-pressure feed water heater, and the like which come into contact with high-temperature feed water, the coating film inhibiting dissolution of the constituent elements of these constituent materials.  Furthermore, a corrosion inhibitor is introduced from a corrosion inhibitor introduction line in order to adhere the corrosion inhibitor to the surfaces of the constituent materials which suffer corrosion that is accelerated by the flow of the feed water.
