The invention provides a bonding plate-shaped body checking device and a method. Even if the periphery of the bonding plate-shaped body has a light-proof area, a checking image which displays the peripheral state of an adhesive and bubbles or foreign matters in the adhesive can be obtained. The bonding plate-shaped body checking device comprises a wire sensor camera (50), a first lighting component (51) which conducts lighting on the surface of the bonding plate-shaped body from the side of a first plate-shaped body (11), a second lighting component (52) which conducts lighting on the wire sensor camera from the side of a second plate-shaped body (12). The first lighting component conducts a tilted lighting on a pre-determined area (EL) which has a predetermined distance from a shooting line (LC) on the surface of the bonding plate-shaped body and extends along the direction of the shooting line from the upper part of the bonding plate-shaped body. Under the state that the first and second lighting components conduct lighting, the wire sensor camera scans the bonding plate-shaped body to generate a checking image. |
