PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system requiring no complicated operation of users and capable of exactly proposing a destination.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 20 generates vehicle stop information including vehicle stop positions and vehicle stop time and transmits it to a support server 10. The support server 10 generates candidate information by summarizing vicinity vehicle stop positions from respective pieces of received vehicle stop information into one candidate position, and accumulates the candidate information in database 13. The on-vehicle device 20 generates request information including a present position of an own vehicle and transmits it to the support server 10 when the proposal of a destination is requested by a user. The support server 10 searches the database 13 for the candidate information in which the candidate position is included in a predetermined range with reference to a present position of the request information, and transmits the searched candidate information to the on-vehicle device 20. The on-vehicle device 20 changes a display form of a symbol indicating the candidate position on the basis of the received candidate information, and combines the symbol with a mag image to display them on a display portion 29.
