PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an aromatic carboxylic acid is provided to manufacture an aromatic carboxylic acid with a large particle size, and to improve process stability using an aromatic carboxylic acid with a specific concentration. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an aromatic carboxylic acid with a particle size of 140-300 micron comprises a step of liquid phase oxidizing aromatic hydrocarbon compound in a polar organic solvent, by oxygen-containing gas, under the presence of a metal catalyst, a brome compound, an imide compound, and a zirconium compound. 20-80 wt% of the aromatic hydrocarbon compound is supplied based on total weight of the polar organic solvent and aromatic hydrocarbon compound. 1-3000 ppm of zirconium compound is supplied to the polar organic solvent. |
