PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration, and lower the height of a housing to downsize the housing to achieve good drying performance.SOLUTION: A drum-type washing and drying machine comprises: an air passage 16 communicatively connected to an air intake 14 and an air outlet 15 provided in a water tank 2; a heat pump unit 17 in which an evaporator 21 and a condenser 19 are arranged in the air passage 16, the unit which can be taken out from the inside of the housing 1 to a side of a front face 1b; and an air blower 24 supplying drying air into the water tank through the air passage. The heat pump unit 17 is arranged in a lower portion within the housing 1. The evaporator 21 and the condenser 19 are arranged near a side wall 1c of the housing 1 such that the drying air flows in the heat pump unit 17 in a forward and backward direction. The air blower 24 is provided on a back side of the heat pump unit and communicatively connected to the heat pump unit 17 through a duct 16b extending to a front side. An upper portion 24c of the blower 24 is positioned above a lower end 2a in a back portion of the water tank 2. |
