An optical sensor (10) comprises: a light source (20); a characteristic light guide member (40) which guides light which is emitted from the light source (20); a characteristic change unit (50) which is positioned in the characteristic light guide member (40) and which changes an optical characteristic of the light according to a degree of curvature of the characteristic light guide member (40); and a detector unit (60) which detects light, the optical characteristic whereof is changed by the characteristic change unit (50) and which is guided by the characteristic light guide member (40). The optical sensor (10) further comprises: a restriction member (80) which is positioned along the characteristic light guide member (40), alleviates at least a twist of the characteristic light guide member (40), and restricts a curve state of the characteristic light guide member (40); and positioning mechanisms (90) which retain the characteristic light guide member (40) and the restriction member (80), and position the characteristic change unit (50) along with the retention at least in the circumference direction of the characteristic light guide member (40). |
