PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compact container in which cracks and chipping do not occur on a solid article which is fixed to a saucer member by effectively absorbing impacts applied to the saucer member.SOLUTION: A compact container includes: a saucer 11 for fixing a solid article S; a container body 12 formed with a housing recess place C1 for the saucer member 11; a lid body 13 for opening and closing the upper end opening of the recess place C1; and an impact absorbing member M1 arranged between the saucer 11 and the recess place C1. The impact absorbing member M1 is constituted of a ring-like section 14 fixed to the inside of the recess place C1, a plurality of arm sections 15 arranged in the circumferential direction of the ring-like section 14 with a gap, and at the same time, spirally stand up while approaching each other, and a saucer housing section 16 arranged with a space at a higher position than the recess place bottom surface 12fby being connected with the front ends of the arm sections 15, and housing the saucer member 11. |
