PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a user may take an image of an object space for imaging without visually recognizing an optical finder and a live view on a back display part depending on a situation of imaging; in this case, it is difficult for the user to recognize whether or not an imaging device appropriately captures a subject.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging unit that converts incident light from an object space for imaging into an electric signal; a detection unit that detects a relative relationship relating to a direction of the object space for imaging and the imaging unit; a generation unit that generates tactile force for allowing a user to perceive rotation; and a drive control unit that determines a recommended direction to rotate the imaging unit, and drives the generation unit so as to allow the user to perceive a direction of rotation coinciding with the recommended direction on the basis of the relationship detected by the detection unit and a predetermined reference. |
