PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a build-up welding member favorably formable of a cermet layer excellent in corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance at a portion where corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance are necessary.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a build-up welding member is provided, in which a cermet layer containing MoFeB-type or MoNiB-type multiple boride is formed continuously on a metal matrix with a width of 2 to 5 mm by build-up welding along the lengthwise direction of the metal matrix, wherein the cermet layer is formed under the conditions that the welding speed of the build-up welding in the lengthwise direction of the metal matrix is 10 to 20 cm/min and the irradiation energy density of the build-up welding is 8,000 to 9,700 W/cm. |
