PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shield near infrared rays incident on a small-sized imaging element mounted on a portable information terminal without providing a near infrared cut filter in the imaging element, and to thin the portable information terminal as a whole.SOLUTION: A cover member 8 which constitutes a part or whole of a casing of a portable information terminal having an imaging element unit 11 and protects the internal structure of the portable information terminal is arranged on the light path of light incident on the imaging element unit 11. The average transmittance of light in a visible light region of which a wavelength is 400 nm or more and 650 nm or less is 70% or more, and the average transmittance of light in a near-infrared region of which a wavelength is 700 nm or more and 1,100 nm or less is 5% or less. |
