PURPOSE: A construction equipment failure managing method is provided to analyze failure information when an abnormality occurs in construction equipment and notify an operator of a currently possible task part. CONSTITUTION: A controller area network (CAN) interface (202) communicates with multiple vehicle control devices through CAN. A communications module (204) transmits state information of the vehicle control devices to a neighboring communications terminal or to a control server. A control part (208) requests state information from the multiple vehicle control devices and transmits failure information to the communications terminal or the control server through the communications module. The control part receives data containing the failed portion of construction equipment and the range of a currently possible task through the communications module. The control part delivers the data to a dashboard through the CAN interface and displays the received data on the dashboard.
