PURPOSE: A tool changer is provided to prevent objects from falling even in case of malfunction of a robot driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A tool changer for preventing falls comprises a master(10) and a slab(20). The master is connected to a robot and inserted in the slab installed on an object tool. A clamp unit is under the master. The master inserted into the slab is carried to the top with the operation of an air cylinder(11a) of the clamp unit(11) and coupled to the slab. When an electrical malfunction occurs, the slab hangs on a side of the master and the falling of the slab can be prevented. |
