The vehicle has a line of seats comprising a first seat (10) adjacent with a second seat (20). A lateral retraction unit moves the first seat by a lateral movement from a use position toward another use position in front of the second seat. A longitudinal retraction unit moves back the second seat by a longitudinal movement from a front position adjacent to the first seat toward a rear position so as to allow the lateral movement of the first seat between the two use positions. The line of seats is separated from a loading space of by a load stop partition (40).
