PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate control of a liquid level height of a molten metal, and to increase a receivable amount of the molten metal corresponding to a size of a furnace.SOLUTION: A metal heating furnace comprises a furnace body 10, a tube 12 and a burner 14. The furnace body 10 forms a receiving chamber 50. The tube 12 penetrates the furnace body 10. When a molten metal is received in the receiving chamber 50, the tube 12 is arranged obliquely to the liquid level of the molten metal. The burner 14 is inserted into the tube 12. The furnace body 10 has a bottom 40 and a sidewall 42. A furnace body through-passage 72 is formed at the sidewall 42. The lowest portion 76 at an upper end of the sidewall 42 when viewed from the bottom 40 is higher than the outside upper end 78 of the furnace body 10 of the furnace body through-passage 72 when viewed from the bottom 40. The metal heating furnace further comprises a fixing part 16. The fixing part 16 fixes the tube 12 to the furnace body 10 so that a clearance between the internal peripheral face of the furnace body through-passage 72 and the tube 12 may be sealed. |
