APPARATUS AND METHOD OF INPUTTING TEXT IN MOBILE DEVICE

PURPOSE: A text input device for a mobile device and a method thereof allow a user to check out the texts he/she typed in even when a keyboard partially covers a text input window. CONSTITUTION: A browsing unit (110) is launched on an operating system (OS) and displays hypertext markup language (HTML) data or extensible markup language (XML) data on a touch screen. A virtual keyboard processing unit (120) displays a keyboard on the touch screen and generates keyboard input signals corresponding to a user's touches. When the virtual keyboard processing unit displays the keyboard on the touch screen with a text input window selected over the HTML or XML data, a text input processing unit (130) determines whether the text input window is overlapped with the displayed keyboard.
